Angus Glen Wedding|Steeped With Love
It was on Norm and Amanda’s wedding day in April that the crisp, cool air of winter began to give way to signs of spring; a sure indicator of new life and new beginnings for this couple.
The day began with an intimate gathering for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where family members were served tea and bestowed blessings upon the bride and groom. As we witnessed the ceremony, we could see that much like the tea, this couple was steeped with love.
After the tea ceremony, it was time get ready for the wedding ceremony and celebration. The bride was obviously in good hands as her bridesmaids took great care to help her get ready; while the groom shared some one-on-one time with his brother before seeing his bride.
This wedding event was hosted by the Angus Glen Golf Club, north of Toronto, where Amanda and Norm reunited for their first-look photos. Norm’s response to seeing his beautiful bride says it all…
Norm and Amanda were joined by their fantastic wedding party before the ceremony. I love the fresh pastel colours donned by the bridesmaids and their gorgeous spring bouquets.
The bride and groom’s deep love, appreciation, and gratitude toward each other, garnished with a touch of humour, could be felt throughout the ceremony as they committed their lives to one another in the presence of family and friends.
After the ceremony, we just had to take advantage of the fabulous light. I love how it highlights the beautiful veil that was made specially for Amanda by her Mom…
As the day turned into night, the celebration continued, the band played on, and one soon began to understand that relationships, family, and friends are of high priority for this couple.
Steeped with so much love around them, Amanda and Norm’s new beginning is off to a soaring start. Thank you for inviting us to share in your special day and our sincere congratulations to you both!
