Todmorden Mills Wedding|Christine + John
We recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding celebration that was personally special for us. You see, we have known the bride for many years and she is a remarkable human being with a loving and kind heart. After witnessing some of her many jubilations in life as well as some life-altering trials, we could not be more excited to see Christine begin a new chapter with someone who is undeniably head over heels for her and who makes her happy.
Like Christine, this was a classy yet casual affair with the ceremony and cocktail reception being held at Todmorden Mills Art Gallery. Their appreciation for both art and architecture made this historic landmark in Toronto the perfect venue for Christine and John’s celebration.
John waited patiently for Christine to arrive. When he saw her for the first time, you could see that his heart was overflowing, while his eyes filled with tears of joy.
Christine looked exquisite in her elegant lace-overlay gown. The gorgeous bouquet of white calla lilies by the Broadview Flower Market completed Christine’s quintessential style.
It was a very cool Fall day (thank goodness the snow stopped!), but the bride and groom were willing to brave the cold and take advantage of the amazing property at Todmorden Mills. Just one more reason to hold each other close, I figure!
Inside the gallery, Christine and John declared their love and commitment to each other in an intimate ceremony, witnessed by close friends and family.
We just had to take a few moments to enjoy the artwork that formed the backdrop for Christine and John’s wedding.
The cocktail reception that followed was catered by Daniel et Daniel with an impressive array of delectable hot and cold options.
As the band played, the bride & groom and their guests celebrated, mingled, reminisced, and danced the night away.
